Restaurant Employee Serves Burger With Period Blood
The mother of a former Jack’s Family Restaurant in Columbus, Mississippi has alleged that another put menstrual blood on a hamburger and licked the cheese before serving it to a customer.
Tabatha Hollins said after she saw the employee contaminate the hamburger she told the manager, who let the food go out anyway. After filing a report with Jack’s corporate offices, Hollins’ daughter was fired from the restaurant for making ‘false allegations’.
The employee who put the bodily fluids on the food no longer works at the restaurant “for unrelated reasons.” Jack’s claims that they were not aware of the allegations at the time the employee was dismissed.
The Mississipi State Department of Health and the police department are currently investigating the disturbing incident.
