No Prison For Racist Teen Who Sodomized Black Student With Coat Hanger
According to media reports, a white high school football player will not serve jail time for racially insulting and sexually assaulting a black disabled student.
John R.K. Howard avoided a prison sentence by pleading guilty to one felony count of injury to a child. He had been the ringleader in the brutal sexual attack on the black teammate who had mental disabilities.
After several previous incidents of racial discrimination against the student, Howard and his two friends attacked the black student in a locker room. He was sodomized with a coat hanger. The hanger was kicked deeper into his body several times, causing internal injuries.
According to the prosecutor’s recommendation, Howard will only have to complete 300 hours of community service for the violent rape. He will also maintain his innocence as part of the plea deal.
