Brittney Griner Admits To Fathering Ex-wife’s Twins, Agrees To Pay Child Support
WNBA player Brittney Griner has agreed to pay child support for the twin girls that her ex-wife Glory Johnson gave birth to following their very public divorce.
According to Bossip, Griner initially denied that she was the father of the twin girls which led to a drawn out court battle over child support.
However, new court documents reveal that Griner will start paying $2,500+ per month in child support plus 90 percent of Johnson’s childcare costs which is estimated at $2,835 per month.
In a statement released to the press, Glory Johnson said that Griner was very involved with the fertility process and signed all documents needed in order for Johnson to proceed with treatment.
“At no stage was Brittney pressured to undertake the fertility process,” Johnson’s statement said, in opposition to Griner’s claim that she did not know how long Johnson had been pregnant. “In fact, throughout the entire process, Brittney was a willing participant, consenting and signing all the necessary documents that needed to be signed in order to move forward with the treatments.”
